  This experience at Benihana was AMAZING!!!!!! Today was my birthday (or at least when I wrote this review) and the service was amazing! The receptionist got us to our seating right on time with our reservation and even though we had to wait 15 to 20 minutes for the Hibachi chef to come our table mates were very nice. When the chef came to our table he did all kinds of cool tricks that never got old (It's a tradition in my family now to come to Benihana every year for my birthday) like the utensil flipping, egg roll and flip, and my personal favorite, the onion volcano. Overall, the food tasted to its complete quality and it surpassed my expectations! Plus, all the staff was so nice and always tried their best to always satisfy the consumers (us) which I thought was amazing! So I think that this place was amazing and you should make this a favorite restaurant. Also, don't listen to those haters writing bad reviews, and always take a risk like I did, which turned out to be OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So thank you Benihana for this exceptional dinner and I will guarantee you that I will come again soon!!!!

  Sunday night 3/12/17 was the worst dining experience I've ever had in my life! I had my wife and my 9 month old daughter with me along with two of our friends, We had to wait a while for our table (which is normal) but then after we were seated, we gave our drink orders and our meal orders shortly after. As my first HOT sake shows up, so did the chef, he started off by having all the wrong orders. Finally we got all the orders in the correct direction and he stars to do his "show". In my opinion this young man had no business spinning around a spatula, knife or fork. He was very inexperienced in doing so he must have dropped the knife and spatula 3 or 4 times until he got it to spin. After he got it going the worst imaginable thing happened, the spatula went flying directly towards my 9 month old daughter!!!! The entire table reacts and tries to stop it from hitting her and then it hits the HOT sake and splashes all over my wife and daughters face hands and clothes!!! Immediately the chef (ROJO) apologizes and goes to tell a manager of the situation. Within doing so the manager fills out some report and sends us back to our table. After that my daughter would not stop crying so I wait for the rest of my meal to get cooked so I can box it and go home to take care of my family. I ask for the bill and when they bring the bill there has only been a small percentage of the "food" portion taken off, not even the HOT SAKE that was spilled on my daughter was taken off of the bill. I have been in the food and restaurant business all my life and if anything like this happens to any of my customers I will make sure that it is taken care of a lot better then this! Come on Benihana!

  This is one of our favorite spots to go for a date night! When we just go for sushi, we can be in and out within 45 minutes because the service is excellent. We enjoy the mix of traditional sushi rolls, as well as creative rolls that are available for a limited time. We have always been waited on very quickly, and the one time that the sushi took a bit longer than usual, the hostess provided green tea ice cream for free to each member of our party.
