  Stayin' Alive is a great place to go to for a fun night out with your friends. It is located above Lucky Strike in the Novi Fountain Walk. The design and feel of the place is definitely disco and I love it. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help you. We always book a table and it has never been an issue for us (not sure why other reviewers were negative). My friends and I enjoy the music and the female DJ is amazing there. It's a great girls night out whenever we go! Great mix of 70's, 80's and 90's music!! The crowd is a nice mix of people in their 20's, 30's, 40's and 50's. Every time I am there, everyone including patrons are respectful of one another. Big plus for me!

  I have been coming to this place since it opened as a once in a while girls night out. On Saturday 3/18/17, we had a birthday party with 16 girls. Service was good as alway, but I wanted to say thank you to the DJ. She was amazing. Made our night! Made us and our party feel special. I have seen others here and I just have to say that she is the best out of all of them. The management needs to seriously consider doing what ever it takes to bring her back!!!!!!!!!!

  Dissatisfied! Last Friday we went for St. Patty's day to celebrate a friends 30th birthday & the DJ wouldn't spin any tracks that catered to or related to HipHop. Even though majority of the crowd there was brought in by my friend for her birthday. We requested numerous songs to be played & the DJ totally disregarded us like she just didn't pay cash to rent out their shag room, like she didn't bring majority of the people that night into the venue. When we walked in, there were maybe 10 people on the dance floor or sitting at the bar. All these tables had reserved signs with names on them & the whole night the tables stayed empty. The manager was there & was informed of the issues & did nothing. But I bet you he made sure he took her payment to rent out the shag room & pay for 20 guests. Never and I mean never, will I return or recommend people to celebrate a 70's,80's,90's themed party there, NEVER! It's unfortunate there are still people out there who show signs of racism. Just because our crowd was majority black didn't mean that the DJ couldn't play any of "our kind" of music. Money & time wasted!
